It’s never too late to get even.

Plot

Written by Paul Weitz (Grandma, About a Boy, In Good Company, Little Fockers, American Pie)  “Moving On” stars Jane Fonda as Claire and Lily Tomlin as Evelyn, two estranged friends who reconnect at the funeral of their mutual friend, Joyce. At the funeral, Claire informs Joyce’s widower, Howard (played by Malcolm McDowell), that she plans to kill him over a past wrongdoing that occurred decades earlier. Evelyn becomes involved in Claire’s plan, and together they navigate the complexities of their past relationships and the pursuit of revenge.

“We’ve been spoiled this past decade, discovering what Fonda and Tomlin can do together. Why didn’t Hollywood see the potential of this pairing half a century earlier?”

“Fonda and Tomlin are as good as they have ever been and ‘Moving On’ proves itself a powerful rumination on the strength it takes to age.” – Roger Ebert
